25 Days to Business English is a fun and useful way for Czech speakers of English to practice their Business English skills. The money is needed for the typesetting, design, and printing of the book.

My name is Nathan Adlam and I am a native English speaker from Kalamazoo, Michigan, in the USA. I've been teaching English in Prague for almost five years now and I really enjoy it.
A few years ago I saw that many of my students kept making the same mistakes with topics like present perfect, conditionals, prepositions, and so on, so I decided to make something to help them. The first book, 25 Days from Czenglish to English, was born.
This first crowdfunding project was a huge success and the book made its way to bookstores throughout the Czech Republic.
Since then, our Instagram has grown as well.
But this is only the beginning.
Over the years, I've had some students who do business in English, and struggle with things like emails and giving presentations. Doing business is hard enough in your own language, let alone your 2nd or 3rd language.
I also noticed that business textbooks are often brutally boring, outdated, and filled with words and phrases that people don’t actually say. As a student, how are you supposed to know what's right?
This combination of experiences has led me to the next project: 25 Days to Business English.
25 Days to Business English has a similar concept to 25 Days from Czenglish to English. There are 25 chapters, each designed to give you a 10-20 minute daily lesson you can use to help improve your Business English.
The previous book was more focused on grammar for everyday conversation. 25 Days to Business English includes vocabulary, grammar, and common idioms/phrases to use in business, especially the most common grammar mistakes that Czech people make when doing business in English. The table of contents can give you a preview of what to expect in the book.
25 Days to Business English is a daily practice for busy Czech students of English who want to improve their Business English skills. While this book is designed for Czech students of English, and includes how to improve many of their common mistakes, English students of other countries, especially from other Slavic countries, can benefit from this book as well.
The book includes professional illustrations from local Czech designer Eva Hanzalová and does not feel like a textbook.
The book focuses on the most important topics common to most businesses. The exercises are designed to take between 10-20 minutes per day. There are occasional reviews throughout the book, so you can continue to practice what you've learned.
The money from crowdfunding goes towards designing, editing, and printing the books, as well as the creation of the video, ISBN number, and shipping.
I used to be an engineer living in Detroit, Michigan, but I became tired of corporate life. I spent about 4 years in a corporate office job, so not only do I have experience teaching English, but also experience in business.
After those 4 years, I decided to move to Prague and try teaching English, and I am still here almost 5 years later. I love helping people enjoy speaking English and helping them get better. I love talking about topics that my students are passionate about and helping them express themselves better. I love hearing from my students that they were able to speak confidently in a business meeting because of the regular lessons we've been having. I enjoy giving people a break from a busy life to laugh about cat videos and light-hearted topics.
I'm doing this because I enjoy it and lots of students find it useful. Does a better combination exist? :)
Thank you so much for any amount of support and I hope you'll have a good time learning Business English with this book!
