Help the classics - Dvořák's Symphony No. 3 on our new CD

Musica Florea --- a slightly different music ensemble. We have already managed to record 2 CDs with the help of HitHit and we are striving for a third one - golden hat trick maybe?! We also wanted to support our ensemble at the time of the covid.

Musica Florea: Classic is classical

If you hear classical music, you almost get goosebumps from it, right? Too much emotion, so much passion, so many passionate emotions! We would like to transfer them into the psysical form. To record a CD which doesn’t leave anybody unmoved. We’ve already managed to record the first two of Dvorak’s symphonies, now we would like to perform the third one.

If you help us, not only do we create something unique but you also help our whole ensemble.

WHO ARE WE / WHAT DO WE DO/ WHY DO WE DO IT

We are a musical ensemble Musica Florea – so it’s quite plenty of us, to be honest. The ensemble was established in 1992. We deal with the study of the primary sources, aesthetics and creative revival of forgotten interpretive styles and means.

Why are we doing this? Because we damn well enjoy an authentic interpretation of the early music. We want to get closer to the original intention of the composer, to sound the way the composition could have sounded in its time

We don't just look at the notes, we want to see a little further. That's why we play historical instruments or their copies, we study historical treatises - we simply want to pass on to you the emotions hidden in the scores of the works. Because it's all about emotions, right?

What’s our goal?

Our most played and beloved performer is Antonín Dvořák - after all, they love his Rusalka in America as well. We consider Dvořák to be the key performer of our musical heritage, even in the international context. But we want to play it for you in a way you have no idea about. To go into the depth, to add something, take something away, in short - to capture that beauty in its purest nature.

The third CD will be something like " a golden hat trick" for us. In short - we are striving for our classic No. 3 with your help. And that is Dvořák's Symphony No.3.

And why do we need you?

Well, it's better in two, you know. It's good to look to the future but we still want to remind you of the beauty of the old days. Because it's something we should never forget. We want to give life to something that makes sense. And we believe you are in it with us. Because music = strong emotions. And we want to pass on those emotions. Now it's much worse during the Covid times. We can't enrich you live at concerts so we want to do it differently. Will you help us so that Musica Florea can continue to bloom?
