Let's build a new MTB trail at the Rychleby Trails and help the "RyS team" to continue at work! Together we will extend the trail map with another unforgettable line and we'll keep the "Rychleby Dream" alive. Reward: awesome new line, YOUR OWN new trail!

All or nothing. Project finished on Apr 25, 2020 at 08:57.
We dig MTB trails. Together with you, more than 10 years already. Together with you we also ride these trails and meet with all of you, because that is exactly what we love!
Each year since the very beginning we managed to build a new trail. No matter if we had some money or hadn't, somehow we always managed to make it work. But you can't dig on credit all the time. That's why now we need your help!
In a few days the Rychleby Trails were supposed to open for the new season 2020. But current corona virus situation does not allow us to do so! However, our team is again in full operation since the beginning of March, working on the trail maintenance. Without this team it is impossible to operate. No team, no trails, no ride. As long as it is not possible to open our Base in Černá Voda, we don't have any measure how to keep the team at work! It is the operation of the Base what allows us to generate some money to pay for the work of our team.
Here's the plan: help us to finance our team in this rough "corona" situation and we will use this spare time in March to build a new trail! Brand new line in absolutely new terrain with amount of entertaining loamy sections, brook canyons as well as some nice bouldery slabs. The difficulty of this trail will be upper intermediate, but it will entertain expert riders as well! The trail will be once again mainly handmade. We'd like to build it until the middle of this season so that you can fully enjoy it still this year!
If you'll contribute with 400 thousand Czech crowns (approx 15 thousand EUR): we will build a brand new "key section" of this "Hawk trail" („Jestřábí trail"). And we'll be able to keep the team at work for at least next 2 months.
If you'll contribute more - with a total of 550 thousand Czech crowns (approx 20 thousand EUR): apart from the above mentioned we will also build the "T-rex" - a short but very technical new section over giant boulders which will extend the "Naučná stezka" ("Sítko") trail. This will keep us busy and in operation for at least another month longer.
If you'll contribute even more - with a total of 700 thousand Czech crowns (approx 25 thousand EUR): we will also build the second part of the "Hawk trail" („Jestřábí trail") and finalize the whole line all the way down the mountain. We believe that by that time the current uncertain times will clear out and thanks to your contribution we will be able to keep the team busy and in operation for the whole season, even though we'll have to work extremely efficiently and economically, but that is nowadays something what everyone has to count with!
Should there be any additional money gathered in this campaign, we will use it for further maintenance and also for a construction of a brand new section above the "Obelix" trail which will be called the "Asterix".
Well, that is hard to tell! Maybe rather: who do we want to be? We want to be a mountain bike community! A place where you can enjoy amazing times on fabulous trails with your friends and fellow bikers. A place where you will always find a fella for a collective ride. A place where each single piece of the trail "belongs" to someone who has build it with his own hands. Our trails are people, all those people behind them. We want to have the best trails in astonishing nature of the "Rychleby Mountains" and we want you to enjoy them to the fullest!
Apart from the above described we are a non-profit organization "Rychlebské stezky z.s.", we build and maintain mountain bike trails and also operate the "Rychleby Base" at the foot of our mountain with various services for the visitors. In the past we have achieved a number of awards from the Czech Tourism or the american IMBA mountain bike association. Recently we've been featured in an extensive article on the frontpage of the world's largest MTB website pinkbike.com where the author describes in detail mainly the amazing community.
One of our most passionate diggers says that he regularly goes to Rychleby Trails to get convinced that the world is still on it's right place. That it works. Our motivation has never been a business plan to earn money, but an effort to do things the right way, so that everyone feels in Rychleby at home. We wanted to create a meeting place for the community of mountain bikers, we wanted to ignite new friendships. Each month there are 50 to 100 or sometimes even 150 diggers coming here to spend their weekend on a cummunity brigade and that's a great amount of positive energy which is remaining here for ever.
Well, we are not a wealthy organization. What we earn is what we invest into the trails. Without the operation of our Base we are not able to continue. Our village has helped to cover the expenses of our team for March. What will be next? We don't know. Maybe that the "Olomouc region" could help but that is now, in the times of the corona virus, truly uncertain.
We do realize that in these difficult times there are much more important things than some trails in the woods. But from the long-term perspective we believe that the active lifestyle and physical activity in nature is absolutely crucial. We truly believe that the situation will calm down and the mountain bikers will start arriving to our trails again. Support us and we promise that we will make the riding here in Rychleby once again even better!
Our organization has been developing and maintaining mountain bike trails in the area of "Rychleby Mountains" for over 10 years now. This location is unique for a numerous amount of granite boulders scattered in the landscape and beautiful beech forrests. Our trails offer extraordinary sections over large granite slabs, beautiful mountain brooks, they wind through the trees or over purpose built flagged sections. We like to say that here you don't count kilometers ridden, but the experiences witnessed.
Rychleby Mountains are a magical place. If you'll arrive once, you will have to come back again and again. Same thing experienced Pavel Horník, the founder of Rychleby Trails. He got down to the village of Černá Voda by chance with his friend and he immediately fell in love with this place. A year after he moved here, it was almost 20 years ago! He started as a forester and while finding more and more magical spots in the surrounding woods he felt like this is something worth showing to others. That's why the idea of mountain bike trails came to his mind. In 2008, when he visited Wales and saw their iconic mountain bike centers, he immediately decided to build such thing in Rychleby as well! Having no money, no experiences, but a strong idea. Soon a solid community started to develop around the trails, which is nowadays the main benefit of this project. Rychleby Trails, that are not the trails, but the people around them.
