Our story
We are enthusiasts and adventurers. Ivo is a chef, always keen on learning new insruments (currently enjoying the saxophone). Tereza is a teacher and a photographer but has gone through many more interesting professions in the course of her life. We love good music and pleasant company. We like connecting people and have always wanted to support (not only) young artists and to create a space people enjoy returning to.
It all started in a panel house flat in Prague but it proved a bit difficult to create a music&culture space there if you want to invite more than just a handful of the closest of friends...
So we plucked up the courage and opened a Private Cultural Living Room. During the two-and-a-half years of its existence it has accumulated an array of musicians, artists, painters, photographers, and – most importantly – plenty of new friends!
Now we feel it's time to move to new and bigger premises and open our doors to the general public. At the same time we are going to offer our guests the new possibility to have dinner – the new space boasts not only an amazing cellar for live music but also an upstairs restaurant! (And if you know Ivo, you know it will all be yummy ;o) )
Our goal
If all goes according to plan, we will look forward to welcoming you at our new address at Malá Strana at the beginning od December. However, we have a few improvements in mind which will need your help. We would like to build a stage, freshen up the P.A., create a children's area, buy a projector screen (and possibly also our own projector), move the piano...
We hope that you will choose one of our rewards to support "our big move". But even if not, come and visit us, see a band or have dinner ;o)
