Another song from the album: Claude Debussy's The Girl with the Flaxen Hair
With your help, I can make my musical dream come true and release a solo guitar album recorded with historical instruments. Thus, you will be able to experience the acoustic, visual and historical value of some beautiful guitars.

You've Got a Friend – one of the two songs I recorded with F.L.O. – the owner of all the guitars I used on the album. The full video is a part of the bonus content that you can get for contributing in the crowdfunding campaign. Thank you for your support! 💙
F.L.O. is a luthier and we use guitars he built in this video.

My playing will always have roots in bluegrass music and therefore I have to include a song from the father of this genre on this album. Bluegrass guitar? Martin D-28! Although I am fonder of the sound of guitars with mahogany bodies, this rosewood queen does not give a poor picker any hope of not hopelessly falling in love with her [insert G-run here].

One of the rewards you can get for supporting the album Overtones is a package for every guitar player. Besides the CD, bonus content and a TAB book, you will get a guitar lesson – either a 60-minute Skype lesson or a package of all guitar videos available in the ATAmusic e-shop. No matter how advanced you are, this reward will definitely help you on your guitar journey.

Almost every bluegrass guitarist learns this popular song in his/her beginning. It has been played and recorded by a lot of artists so I tried to make my arrangement true to the melody, yet somehow new and interesting. My choice of the twelve-string guitar for this tune helped me in this respect. It is not often used as a solo instrument and I soon found out why. However, I do not regret the choice and I am glad to have this spring beauty on the record.

Great graphic designer (and fiddle player!) Slávka Franclíková takes care of our visual experience from the album. I think she's doing a great job and I look forward to the final result!

Another teaser from the album – Grandfather's Clock is a song from 1876 and I recorded my version of it using a very interesting guitar built in 1926. I combine several techniques here, like Travis picking, crosspicking, and left hand tapping. Because of its unusual dimensions, it's not easy to play this guitar. But I just had to have this on the album.

I've met many people on my musical journey. One of the most important for me is Michal Vavro - Slovak guitarist and my bandmate from East-West. A medley of 4 songs of his will appear on this record as a tribute to him. Here's a teaser:
