Jamming

Jamming is an experimental art project in which artists with “learning disabilities” and “professional” artists collaborate. The money collected by this campaign will be used to fund our exhibition at the Centre for Contemporary Art DOX in Prague.

Pavel Konečný

 Jmenuji se Pavel Konečný (nar.1949), jsem sběratelem art brut. Nyní již v důchodu. Naposledy jsem pracoval jako památkář, vedoucí útvaru evidence a později jako ředitel územního odborného pracoviště Národního památkového ústavu v Olomouci. Žiji v Olomouci a vedle výstav autodidaktů v galerii skanzenu v Příkazích u Olomouce také vydávám publikace o jejich tvorbě. Jsem členem evropské asociace umění outsiderů se sídlem v Belgii a členem občanského sdružení ABCD v Praze, které se zabývá šířením informací o spontánních autorech art brut . Dramaturgicky připravuji již třetím rokem filmovou přehlídku nazvanou ART BRUT FILM Olomouc. Vedle publikací řady Marginálie jsem také připravil sedm výstav své sbírky pod názvem Umělci čistého srdce (například v Muzeu umění v Olomouci, v SNG Bratislava, v Žilině, Šumperku ,Liberci). Poslední výstava se uskutečnila v pražské galerii Montanelli v Nerudově ulici v roce 2012. Má sbírka čítá na 500 výtvarných děl a je řazena k jedné z nejvýznamnějších u nás.

Visual artist Otto Kouwen presents a tradition from his native Netherlands, where children, to earn some money, used to make dioramas with a peephole from old shoeboxes (called a "kijkdoos" in Dutch) and offered passers-by on the street a look into them for a fee of five cents. Using twigs and pine cones, clippings from magazines, pieces of cloth and anything that comes to hand you can create in the shoebox the interior of a space ship, a prehistoric landscape or magic forest. We will contact you and offer you several dates from which you can choose. Workshops will be held in Ateliér radostné tvorby, Prague 7 Letná (see gallery after the video).
