A book you will want to read to your children. Two purebred cats, a mongrel sausage dog and three friends in a story with a detective plot and lots of advice on how to take proper care of a cat. The book will also be available in English as an eBook.

All or nothing. Project finished on Jun 6, 2016 at 17:21.
Radka breeds Siberian cats. When she was still an adolescent she moved to Prague on her own. Her mum was afraid a bit though that she gets “wild” in a big city and so she tried to find some hobby for her in order to occupy her with duties. She found cats breeding. Today, Radka together with her mum belongs amongst the most important breeders of Siberian cats in the Czech Republic. And …there is even a third generation now – Radka´s nine years old daughter Elenka.
Marie loves cats but what she also loves is writing. Until recently she used to write such bestsellers as Annual Reports for her banking employers. Thanks to a friend and lucky coincident Radka met Marie and suggested to change the genre and style of her books. Radka suggested to write a story for kids that would gently described how to properly care for cats while being amusing at one side but also mysterious and thrilling on the other side so that it wouldn´t be just another boring book but even parents would love it. Marie loves challenges so she set to it.
Radka then found another Marie – this time Saudková, the illustrator. Now the book is almost finished and ready for publishing and so when we manage to raise some money the first edition (first out of 3 planned parts) will be on your bedside table soon. And because Siberian cats-lovers and breeders live in different places around the world we have decided to prepare an English version for them, too.
We want to show kids that to care for an animal is huge responsibility though a nice one. Thanks to this book and a website they´ll get a lot of information and support from experienced breeders. What we also wanted to achieve was for kids to see that with even purebred cats can be fun.
Our project responds to the sentence that probably every parent knows: “Mom, Dad, could we get a pet?” Our experience says that allowing children to take care of an animal is fine: smaller kids will get away from the computer, and older ones will not laze about on the computer or in the pub. However, getting a breeding cat requires not only time, but also knowledge. We did not want to create another user´s manual and therefore incorporated breeding experience and advice into a story with a detective plot accompanied by illustrations by Marie Saudkova. The book will be followed by a website on which small pet breeders will be able to find a variety of educational videos, articles, information, and of course, like-minded colleagues.
… and something extra
Since we live in the Internet age, we point out in the book some of the pitfalls that may lie in wait for children on the Internet. A security specialist helped us with the book; he knows a lot about Internet risks (and still keeps using social networks :-) ).
We are two completely different personalities. Radka is a heart-and-soul athlete, but she is not too fond of reading. Marie is a café barfly who is into sports just to stay in shape, but again she reads everything she can get her hands on, sometimes even instructions for use and product compositions in all EU languages (preferably in Estonian and Hungarian). Both of us like cats and dogs and animals in general.
We love cats, children, stories, and because we want to make the beautiful and very friendly breed, which the Siberian cat is, better known. The Siberian cat is by nature a bit of a dog. She fits perfectly into family, flat, with other animals (except mice, we do not recommend this mix) – and children will love her!
And since Siberian cat breeders live in a variety of countries all over the world, we also want to prepare an eBook in English for children abroad.
