What is this campaign about?

We are publishing a special English-language edition of 'Lady Macbeth' as a paperback, eBook, and audiobook this Summer. We are offering a range of rewards to fund printing of paperback books and to produce an audiobook.

Our special edition has been graded at the intermediate plus level (B1/B2) for English-language students in the Czech Republic. The book includes an appendix with 200+ words translated from English to Czech.

This special edition contains +20 hand-drawn, historically-accurate and detailed black-and-white illustrations which will transport you to the middle of the nineteenth century. The illustrations by various artists include:

- a unique acknowledgement of all Patrons who chose to have their name in the book;

- 18 animals and creatures mentioned in the novella: seal, nightingale, quail, horse, squirrel, etc.;

- detailed portraits of characters: Katerina, Sergey, Zinovy, Fyodor;

- icons for every chapter: a samovar, a padlock, a candle-stick, etc.;

- an apple tree containing relevant vocabulary;

- many other smaller details in the book for you to explore...
