Help us make our graduation film about the Furry fandom

A graduation documentary that introduces you to the world of "furries". Donations will be used to travel to two international furry conventions to show you what this community is all about. Join us and let's find out what's under all that fur together!

​How are we going to use the money?

In the "Project Links" section in the "Project" tab at the bottom of the page, you can find a Google Sheets document with an itemized budget for our film. We use the money for things like travel, accommodation, convention registration fees, food, equipment rentals, cinema rentals and more. All expenses are listed in the document mentioned above.

For what target group is the film intended?

The contents of the document are very general. It is intended for viewers who have never heard of furries before or have skewed ideas about the community. We want to introduce and explain this interesting subculture to them.

​Why are you raising money for conventions you've already been to?

Since this is a graduation project and there are only a few conventions a year, we had to borrow money to film abroad before the campaign. So we are collecting the money in order to be able to repay the amount mentioned above as soon as possible.

​Where can I watch the film?

The documentary will be screened in two cinemas - one in Brno and the other in Prague. We are still working on dates with the crew and we will inform you as soon as possible. Eventually we plan to upload the film to internet platforms. Changes will be announced in the "News" section.

Will the film only be in Czech or are there plans to make other versions?

We plan to distribute the film mainly in the Czech language for Czech (and Slovak) audience, but it will also come with English subtitles for foreign audiences. These will be available together with an online link to the film.

    Join us for a furry event in Prague!

    Motomo, one of the portrayed characters, organizes so-called "furry outings" in her free time. An outing is a small gathering of furries in a public place, usually including a parade through a park or the city. With this reward, you will be among a few attendees of one of these outings – so right in the centre of action. Not only will the characters from our documentary be at the outing, but also other furries who will be happy to chat or take pictures with you. The outing will take place in the autumn months for the convenience of the fursuiters – suiting in the summer could lead to heat strokes.
