How it all started

Cheerleading started more than 130 years ago on one of the university field in Minnesota. Ever since cheerleading has been independent sports industry. In Czech Republic the history of cheerleading only goes 20 years back to a few friends who decided that wanted to learn to fly. Since than Czech cheerleaders got much further and compete with other European countries and now they would like to represent their country on even greater event. 

What is our goal?

Get the first team from Czech Republic to compete on such an amazing even as Cheerleading Worlds are.

Cheerleading is a really beautiful but dificult sport. Young people must develop not only their physical but also mental skills. Selected group of the best ones is really good in all of those factors. The one and only big deal for them are travel costs that exceed their financial limits and that is why we have decided to participate in this project, to help them! Cheerleading Worlds take part in April 2016 in Orlando, Florida, USA.

Cheerleading is a lot about trust and cooperation. How else could you let somebody throw you 6 meters in the air and hope they will catch you? And not only trust and cooperation are the things kids learn with this sport. They also learn how to comunicate and be reponsible what helps them in their personal lives as well. Cheerleading is not just a sport is an attitude of life and members of the association that deal with cheerleading are one big family.

Who we are?

Czech representative team – Czech National Cheer Team (CNCT) – a group of people who dedicated  to this beautiful sport, spend hours in the gym working out and learning new techniques, help each other and are a good model for younger kids. The team had 25 members, the best out of Czech Republic and they hope to compete on Cheerleading Worlds for the first time. Will you help them?

Why do we do that?

The operator of CNCT is Czech Cheerleading Association that takes care about developement of this sport and of its athletes in this country. We try to help those selected ones and we are doing maximum for that. Costs to participate could go up to one million Czech crown. HIT HIT project is one of the possible ways to help those young athletes to follow theirs dreams. This project could help them finance transportation costs, members of the team would still need to finance starting and accomodation cost and all the other costs conected to this event. All of them do their best, they go to work or part time jobs together with school duties and hard practices. Cheerleading is not medially known sports industry and we believe that thanks to this we could get you some more information about this wonderful sport that we love. Thank you all for you support!
