Project "Syxtet – VOLUME UP!" will certainly be realized and you can look forward to new experiences at our future concerts. But there are still a few more days left until the end of the campaign, so we go further! You can still choose from a range of rewards and buy VIP tickets for the first concert with sound equipment, hand-painted SYxbag or a song on demand. A few more microphones are waiting for their adoptive parents and you can also enjoy our singing at a private concert or a performance at your party or birthday celebration. The more we manage to exceed the set amount, the better the equipment we can purchase and the better sound we will offer you at future concerts.

How did it all begin?

SYxtet is the name that determines our fate. The first two letters of our group's title refer to our home town Svitavy. The "xtet" part indicates a group with a variable number of members. When founding SYxtet we assumed that the number of members wouldn't be constant.

SYxtet, originally a chamber choir, has gradually turned into a pop and swing vocal group. The new repertoire fits to our group much more but we have found that it is necessary to cross the threshold of chamber spaces, start performing in larger halls and under the open sky and work with the sound in a more sophisticated way. That's why we're here!

What is our goal?

We are a ten-member vocal group and we'd like to purchase our own sound equipment so that we can start performing in a completely different way. The collected amount will be used to purchase the audio equipment. It will allow us to work with the sound, to diversify the range of vocal techniques, and to make our repertoire more attractive to you. You will hear that it was worth it!

With microphones, cables, speakers, and a mixing console our performances will get a new dimension. That's why we need your help with funding of the sound equipment. One part of the costs will be covered by this campaign, and the next part will be funded from our own resources.

Even singing a capella has its own development. We are convinced that it will be more interesting for you when opportunities for our expression will be wider. We won't leave our older repertoire but we'd like to present you something new. We believe you'll enjoy it at least as much as we'll do.

We hope that the campaign will be going well and that you'll be soon able to enjoy our performances with the new sound.

Who we are?

The SYxtet vocal group which was founded in autumn 2012 is formed by the members of the famous IUVENTUS Svitavy Choir. It performs under the artistic direction of Veronika Plívová. Originally a chamber choir of fifteen members has gradually turned into the ten-member vocal group which focuses mostly on swing, jazz and popular music.

The group appears regularly at concerts, festivals and other shows in the Czech Republic and it performed also in Germany, Spain and Colombia.
