All or nothing. Project finished on Dec 28, 2015 at 21:09.
I have always believed that when a person wants something very badly and works hard for it, he/she can achieve it. After nearly 5 years this book is ready - and I would like to achieve its publishing. I hope you will help me to fulfill this dream. Once it appears in Czech, I plan publishing it in English as well. The awards below are meant for the book in Czech language, so if you do not speak Czech you will be able to enjoy in the meantime only the exotic photos - but if your are patient, the English version is coming.
We would like to publish an interesting novel combined with travel journal and a philosophic sprinkle. The book is not only about the countries where it takes place, it is mainly about people who live there - the included photos are also about the people.
The novel takes place in Angola, Cuba, India, but also in Brazil, Japan, China, and other countries of all the continents. The characters have been inspired by real people of my generation which grew up in the relaxed sixties and were formed by that for ever. Twenty years later, after the changes brought by the “Velvet Revolution”, it was still not too late to carry out some dreams. The greatest adventure of the main character started in India and ended after thirty five years in India again. Life went full circle. The book will have around 300 pages plus cca 40 photos.

Ivana Dirk Lukačovičová. I wanted to be a writer already as a child. I also wanted to travel and write travel books. The destiny decided otherwise, as usual. But whatever I have been doing, it has never been boring. My private life was a bit like a roller coaster, but I was lucky enough to be able to realize the biggest passion of my life – travelling. Not only as a tourist, but especially during my prolonged stays in various countries, I could get acquainted with the most diverse destinies and with various worlds. This brought me to the conviction that the main desires of all human beings are in the end very much alike. Suddenly, I felt the same longing as in my childhood: I wanted to write a novel about all this.
